Hucclecote Community Association

The Association was formed by local people in 1967 with the objection of providing for the benefit of the residents of Hucclecote and its neighbourhood, particularly with regard to facilities for recreation, social welfare, and education. It is run almost entirely by volunteers who are representatives of the members and user groups.

The Association is constantly reappraising all its activities, looking to relate closely to the needs of the local community, and investigating possible changes to the community centre in order to respond more clearly to these needs.

We are always happy to receive feedback and new ideas from the local community to help us identify and prioritise new services and ensure we keep the current activities that you value.

The Community Centre

The Community Centre provides a meeting place for individuals and groups, as well as organising activities and events for the local community in Hucclecote.

Here at the HCA, there is a large hall, meeting rooms, a lounge bar, garden, kitchen and toilet facilities. Our rooms are available to hire, please call the office to book.

There is an on-going programme of improvement and maintenance to ensure that the facilities are refurbished and kept in good order.

We are always grateful of more help in running activities and events for families and groups in the local community.

There are also opportunities to participate in the various committees that run the Centre.

If you would like to be involved in any way, and could spare a little time to help the community, please contact us.
