Social Club

Now that the Social Club has a new Premises Licence, which means that the bar is open to everyone, it is the Community Association’s policy that membership is not essential for participation in any activity at the Centre. However, we are still a membership organisation and we very much hope that existing members will continue to renew their memberships and that new members will be attracted to join.  Membership of course supports the Association financially, and – even more importantly – a strong membership gives us much more strength when, for instance, applying for funding for different projects, and when dealing with local councils, etc. So – please do continue to support us by taking up membership, and we will do all that we can to make it worth your while.Gift Aid.  If you are UK income tax payer, we are now able to offer you the opportunity to gift aid your membership fee to the Association.  This costs you nothing more than the standard fee. Giving under Gift Aid means that so much more money can be raised for the HCA at no extra cost to our members.By signing up for the scheme, you are giving us permission to reclaim tax paid on your membership or donation, increasing the value of your gift by 25p for every £1 you give us, at no cost to you. Registering is so easy – and it only takes a few minutes, just download and complete this simple form or pop in and pick one up from the office.
