At the heart of the HCA is the Social Club, or the ‘H’ as it’s know locally in Hucclecote.

It operates the bar with all profits made being donated to the HCA for the benefit of the local community. The social club is run by a Board of Directors who work closely with a group of committed HCA members who offer advice and guidance on what members would ideally like to see in their club.

The bar consists of a main bar area with two additional rooms that can become part of the bar at busy times. The bar is now open to anyone, not just members.

A warm and welcoming place, the bar is staffed by professional bar staff supplemented on occasion by committee members. A wide range of pub games is available including pool, darts and so on. BT Sports is available for avid football and rugby followers to be able to watch their chosen sport whilst enjoying a pint or two.

On summer afternoons and evenings when we have the warmer weather, the patio doors are opened and members can use the lovely grassed area just outside the doors, provided of course that we always bear in mind we need to keep noise to a realistic level in order not to disturb our very tolerant neighbours!

Every Thursday in the bar there is BINGO!   “Eyes down at 8pm” and tickets on sale from 7.30 pm.

Membership of the association is not compulsory but we would encourage it to enjoy reduced prices for day trips and functions in the hall
