At the heart of the HCA is the Social Club, affectionately known locally as “The H”.

The Social Club operates the bar, with all profits reinvested into the HCA to support and benefit the local community. It is managed by a Board of Directors who work closely with a dedicated group of HCA committee members, ensuring the club continues to reflect the interests and needs of visitors.

The bar features a spacious main lounge along with two additional rooms, which can be opened up during busier periods. The club is now open to everyone making it a welcoming place for the whole community to enjoy.

Our friendly and welcoming bar is staffed by professional bar personnel, supported by volunteers and committee members when required. A variety of traditional pub games are available, including pool and darts, while sports fans can enjoy live football, rugby, and other major sporting events on our screens.

During the warmer months, the patio doors are opened to provide access to the attractive grassed area outside, offering the perfect spot to relax with friends and family. We simply ask that all visitors are mindful of our neighbours by keeping noise to a reasonable level, helping us maintain the positive relationship we are fortunate to enjoy within the community.
