The Association was formed by local people in 1967 with the objection of providing for the benefit of the residents of Hucclecote and its neighbourhood, particularly with regard to facilities for recreation, social welfare, and education. It is run almost entirely by volunteers who are representatives of the members and user groups.
The Association is constantly reappraising all its activities, looking to relate closely to the needs of the local community, and investigating possible changes to the community centre in order to respond more clearly to these needs.
We are always happy to receive feedback and new ideas from the local community to help us identify and prioritise new services and ensure we keep the current activities that you value.
HCA is home to a wide range of events, classes, and clubs.

At the heart of the HCA is the Social Club, or the ‘H’ as it’s know locally in Hucclecote.
Every Thursday is BINGO! “Eyes down at 8pm” and tickets on sale from 7.30.
Every other Tuesday is Quiz Night!
We welcome bookings from clubs, societies and individuals for their meetings, events and regular activities.
The HCA has a large hall which is perfect for children’s birthday parties, and celebrations. There are also smaller meeting rooms that are available for hire.
